Ming Cao

Ming Cao is executive head chef of sushi and a partner of JP Fuji Group. In 2000, he joined the group as a sushi chef at their first restaurant, Fuji. By 2010, he was appointed executive head chef of sushi of the group. From 2014 until 2016 he placed bronze in two American Culinary Federation endorsed competitions in North Carolina. Simultaneously in 2015, he won first place at Assembly Row's Chowdah Pot and the Kendall Square Association's BYTEs. Additionally, he was voted People's Choice at the Quincy Community Action Program’s Best Chef and the South Shore YMCA’s Taste of the South Shore that same year. Cao has also developed unique restaurant menu items for the group, such as Ming's Mango Maki.
